The Spanish Dancer

the Spanish dancer is found in a group of galaxies down there called the Dorado Group.

This gravitationally bound collection of galaxies travels through the universe together.

The dominant member of the Dorado Group is the Spanish Dancer itself.

A lot of interesting things collide in this piece as a native of colombia wew were a Spanish colony and we had also the indian leyend of el Dorado.

This sculpture has a lot of the purple reflections and also imbeded gold leaf in the edge of the spiral with a lot of crystals and shells creating a connection of microcosmos to the universe.
