Spanish Dancer is found in a group of galaxies down there called the Dorado Group.
This gravitationally bound collection of galaxies travels through the universe together.
The dominant member of the Dorado Group is the Spanish Dancer itself.
This sculpture is inspired by historical influences as a native of Colombia. We were a former Spanish colony that conquered the indian lands where the leyend of el Dorado originted.
This sculpture has a lot of the purple reflections and also imbeded gold leaf in the edge of the spiral with a lot of crystals and shells creating a connection of microcosmos to recreate a gallaxy.
Screen Printing on glass
Add imagery to your glass art pieces with screen printing. Open a new world of creative
possibilities with your screened images on glass, stained and fused glass works.
You will need to bring your own pictures taken by you or royalty free images. Instructor will also
provide some images if you don't have any you want to use.
Working with light sensitive material makes it possible to screen print images on glass, whether it
be stained glass, fused glass, mosaic or any other glass surface. This is a cutting edge approach
to permanently printing "fired on" images.
